Badgers Hand Painted on to Agate

Badgers! Such gorgeous creatures! I have hand painted a duo of sweet badgers onto this beautiful semi precious agate stone slice. I use gouache paint and tiny, tiny brushes to enable me to capture minute details. The patterns and colours of the agate provide an unusual background to my paintings. I try my absolute best to capture the spirit of the animals that I paint.
I have coated it in a tough resin to enhance the lovely colours and to give long lasting protection to the painting.
These unique little pieces of art make lovely gifts and sit nicely on a bookshelf.
The size of the agate slice is 8.5 cm x 5.5 cm, and it comes in a sweet little gift box complete with a display stand and certificate of authenticity signed by me.
