Barn Owl Hand Painted Yew Wood Pendant

I have hand painted a tiny, gorgeous little barn owl onto this beautiful natural Yew wood pendant. The Yew came from a neighbours hedge trimmings, and was dried naturally in my garage for 3 years, then carefully hand sawn and sanded to create a beautifully natural pendant. I used gouache paint and tiny brushes to enable me to capture minute details and I did my absolute best to capture the spirit of the wonderful creature that is the barn owl.

I have coated it in a tough varnish to give long lasting protection to the painting. I have strung it on an adjustable cotton cord with beads to finish it nicely.

The size is 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm, and is hung on a length of cotton cord that measures 62 cm. The cord is adjustable so you can easily make it shorter once it has been put on over your head. It comes in a gift bag complete with a certificate of authenticity signed by me.
