Brown Bear and Cub Painting on Agate

I have hand painted a gorgeous mother brown bear and her adorable little cub onto this beautiful semi precious agate stone slice. I use gouache paint and tiny brushes to enable me to capture minute details. The patterns and colours of the agate provide an unusual background to my paintings, and I try my absolute best to capture the spirit of the animals that I paint. This painting makes a wonderful gift for any bear lover and will sit nicely on a bookshelf.

To finish the painting, I have coated it in a tough resin. This brings out the colours of both the agate and the painting beautifully and gives long lasting protection.

The size is 13.5 cm x 11 cm, and it comes gift boxed complete with a display stand and certificate of authenticity signed by me.
