Dragon Hand Painted on to Agate

I have hand painted a stunning dragon in miniature onto this beautiful semi precious agate stone slice. I use gouache paint and tiny brushes to enable me to capture minute details. The natural patterns in the Agate provide an unusual background to my paintings. I always try my best to capture the spirit of the animals that I paint, dragons have individual characters you know, this one looks a little grumpy but if you're only a small dragon you have to make up for it in attitude!

I have coated the finished painting in a tough resin to give long lasting protection.
The size is 9.5 cm x 5.5 cm, and it comes gift boxed complete with a display stand and certificate of authenticity signed by me.
