Fox Painting on Agate

I love foxes! They have such character and spirit, and the are all so individual! I have hand painted a gorgeous little red fox onto this beautiful semi precious agate stone slice. I use gouache paint and tiny, tiny brushes to enable me to capture minute details. I use the patterns and colours of the agate to provide an unusual background to my paintings, and I try my absolute best to capture the spirit of the animals that I paint. These unique little pieces of art make lovely gifts and sit nicely on a bookshelf.
I have coated it in a tough resin to enhance the lovely colours and to give long lasting protection to the painting.

The size is 7 cm x 5.5 cm, and it comes gift boxed complete with a display stand and certificate of authenticity signed by me.
