Green Man Painting on Agate

I have hand painted a mystical green man with his array of verdant leaves onto this beautiful semi precious agate stone slice. I love painting him, and every time I do a different side of his character seems to emerge all of its own accord! I use gouache paint and tiny brushes to enable me to capture minute details. I use the patterns and colours of the agate to provide an unusual background to my paintings.
I have coated it in a tough resin to enhance the colours and to give long lasting protection to the painting.

The size is 6.5 cm x 5.5 cm, and it comes gift boxed complete with a display stand and certificate of authenticity signed by me.
