Hedgehog Painting on Agate

I have hand painted a cute little prickly hedgehog onto this beautiful semi precious agate slice. I use gouache paint and tiny brushes to enable me to capture minute details. I always try my best to capture the spirit of the animals that I paint and use the colours and patterns in the agate slices to provide an unusual background for my artwork.
I have coated it in a tough resin to give long lasting protection to the painting.

The size is 9.5 cm x 4.5 cm, and it comes gift boxed complete with a display stand and certificate of authenticity signed by me.
