Howling Wolf Painting on Agate

I have hand painted a lonesome howling wolf onto this beautiful semi precious agate stone slice. I use gouache paint and teeny tiny brushes to enable me to capture minute details, this wolf's gorgeous thick fur took me quite some time to paint!
I choose each of piece of agate so that the patterns and colours provide an unusual background to each painting. I try my absolute best to capture the spirit of the animals that I paint.
I have coated it in a tough resin to enhance the lovely colours and to give long lasting protection to the painting.

The size is 8 cm x 6.5 cm, and it comes gift boxed complete with a display stand and certificate of authenticity signed by me.
