Kingfisher Painting on Agate

I have hand painted a stunning kingfisher onto this beautiful semi precious agate stone slice. I use gouache paint and tiny brushes to enable me to capture minute details. I always try my best to capture the spirit of the animals that I paint. The natural patterns in the agate provide an unusual background for my work.
I have coated it in a tough resin to give long lasting protection to the painting.

The size is 6.5 cm x 5 cm, and it comes gift boxed complete with a display stand and certificate of authenticity signed by me.
