Northern Cardinal Painting on Agate

I have hand painted a sweet little Northern Cardinal perched in the branches on a snowy day onto this beautiful agate slice. I use gouache paint and tiny brushes to enable me to capture minute details and I do my absolute best to capture the spirit of the animals that I paint. The natural patterns and colours in agate give a unique and lovely background to each painting.

I have coated the finished piece in a tough resin to enhance the painting and to give long lasting protection.

The size is 8.5 cm x 5.5 cm, and it comes in a gift box with a display stand, complete with a certificate of authenticity signed by me.
