Polar Bear Painting on Agate

I have hand painted a blissed out Polar Bear enjoying the arctic sun onto this beautiful slice of semi precious agate stone. I use gouache paint and tiny brushes to enable me to capture minute details, I spent a long time capturing the depth and thickness of the fur for this painting, I painted each individual piece of hair with the teeniest of brushes. The gorgeous natural patterns in the agate stone provide the background. I do my absolute best to capture the spirit of the animals I paint, and I hope you agree I've caught the spirit of this bear on good day!
I have coated the finished painting in a tough resin to enhance the colours and to give lasting protection to the painting.

The size is 10.5 cm x 8 cm, and it comes in a gift box complete with a display stand and certificate of authenticity signed by me.
